Founded in California by swimwear industry mogul (and current owner) Joseph DiLorenzo and 1972 Olympic bronze medalist Steve Furniss, TYR was established in 1985. Our brand offers swimwear with colorful and technical designs. Since its inception more than 30 years ago, TYR has built a reputation as a leader in the swimming and triathlon market and is constantly striving to offer new designs and technical features.

The name of the brand was chosen in homage to the Nordic god of warriors and in this spirit we cultivate excellence, both in and out of the water.

The brand offers swimwear, competition swimwear, aqua gym swimwear, kids swimwear and finally a new product the Active range which are products that can be used in and out of the water.

Triathlon:

In addition to offering all swimming gear related to triathlon, TYR offers Hurricane neoprene wetsuits, and Torque swimskins.

Equipment:

TYR is also a manufacturer of swimming equipment. The brand offers its customers to discover products such as the swimming backpack, which is one of the best selling brand in the world. The Alliance team swim bag has subsequently inspired all other swimming brands to develop their pool bags. We also create swimming equipment that allows users to train in optimal conditions to achieve their best performance. We provide them with products such as swimming boards, buoy sweaters, swimming nose plugs and ear plugs, swimming pads, swimming fins and swimming caps.

Pool & Triathlon Goggles:

At TYR we decided to create pool goggles for swimming and triathlon. Each of these sports does not necessarily have the same needs. So we will find triathlon goggles but also swimming goggles for competition, swimming goggles for training and swimming goggles for women and or children.
